Creative Technologist - Robots & Making
About the Role
Ohbot is a Gloucestershire based company that designs and manufactures educational technology (robots and programming software) that is used by schools and organisations around the world.
We are looking for a practical, curious and capable Creative Technologist to join our small team. This role combines hands-on making and assembly with operational and customer-facing administration.
The role is based at our workshop and manufacturing space in Chalford, Gloucestershire.
The role has two connected parts. One focuses on assembling and testing robotic products and contributing to product development, while the other supports the day-to-day running of the business through communication, organisation, and helping customers successfully use our products.
This role suits someone who enjoys making things, solving practical problems, and communicating clearly with others. You should feel comfortable moving between workshop tasks, computers, and communication with customers and colleagues.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about building new things and helping to change the way the world works, even in small ways.
This role may suit someone with experience as a robotics technician, electronics technician, prototype technician, or maker.
